Signal light sources

We have a lineup of InP-based semiconductor lasers that we have developed over many years, mainly for use in intensity modulation/direct detection (IMDD) communications, where the transmission distance is short, and for digital coherent communications, where signals are transmitted over long distances using the phase and polarization of light.

Distributed Reflector Laser (DR-LD) type Small form factor Wavelength tunable laser based on the Optical Internetworking Forum (OIF).
Vernier-type ultra-compact wavelength tunable laser based on Optical Internetworking Forum (OIF) that can be mounted on small form factor optical transceivers (CFP2-DCO, QSFP-DD, OSFP).
Modulator-integrated semiconductor laser light source with a built-in semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) (chip-on-carrier (CoC) )
