The ROF (Ring of Fire) plasma field (evenly distributed heat field) is wider and adjustable which enables splicing of Large Diameter Fiber(LDF) up to 800μm in cladding.

Additionally, the STA2D (Sequential Triangular Asymmetric Arc Discharging) system provides uniform, controlled heating, preserving the delicate internal microstructure of hollow-core fibers while preventing heat-induced damage.

Pitch & Yaw or Active Tilt Adjustment (ATA) precisely aligns fibers in both the pitch and yaw directions, effectively eliminating the angular mismatch between the left and right fibers. This enhancement is especially beneficial for applications that require ultra-low splice loss, such as high-power fiber lasers, use fibers with low numerical aperture and employ tapered optical fibers and fiber bundles.
